General

Once you have completed an online order all you are required to do is complete and return our package order form and direct debit mandate. This are supplied as part of our customer confirmation email. One of our account managers will contact you to offer any assistance and talk you through the process. Once we receive these documents your number can be connected straight away (during business hours).
Of course. As 0800 numbers are virtual or cloud based, we simply forward calls to your current landline or mobile phone number. There is no limit to the amount of numbers you can have mapped to the same target number. People calling you direct will not be affected by any of our services.
No. A fantastic bonus when working with 0800NumberShop is that our standard packages do not include a minimum contract. All we ask is for 30 days’ notice before cancellation. On occasions we may run special offers on the website or your account manager may offer you additional services. These often include discounts or periods of free service in return for signing up to a longer deal with us. There is absolutely no obligation to take advantage of these.
You can make instant changes to your call setup through our online portal, though you will have to sign up to our Basic IVR Package. No, your 0800 number package simply covers calls made to your 0800 number. Your inclusive minutes are only used when you receive a business call. People will still be able to call you directly and all your outbound calls will continue as normal.
Your dedicated account manager will monitor your call traffic to ensure the best service. We always aim to ensure that you will be using the right package. If you want to change your package for whatever reason then simply call our team (0800 002 9200) and your account manager will be able to assist you.
As part of our free call management features you have access to online call statistics through our online portal. Your login details are included in your order confirmation email, please contact a member of our team if you don’t have these to hand. All calls made to your 0800 number will be recorded in there so you can keep a close eye on how many minutes you’ve used.
All our numbers can be directed to your landline, mobile or both. However, if you wish to map to a mobile you will need to ensure you have selected the correct package. Our ‘elite’ mobile & landline packages start from £9.99 per month.
Although we realise that by advertising an 0800 number you will receive some calls from payphones, we cannot support a service that regularly receives a high level or is used exclusively for these calls. Calls received from prisons or other payphones cost us up to 80p per minute and so these call costs would be additional to any minutes package we advertise. If we believe you are using your number as a way for people to contact you from prisons or any pay phone we will disconnect your service and attempt to contact you to discuss your options.

Billing

0800NumberShop bills in arrears, so your first payment will be taken at the end of the following month once your number is connected. This usually means you will pay pro-rata for the first month, and your first full monthly payment in one invoice. We do not ask for any upfront fees unless you have ordered a more memorable silver or gold number.
Towards to end of every month your new invoice will be emailed to you, and then uploaded to our online portal. Within the portal you can view both current and historical invoices.
When you select your package you will notice each has an ‘out of bundle’ charge. This is the per minute cost you will pay for every minute you use over your bundled minutes. If you need any more details on these costs please don’t hesitate to speak to our account managers.
No, in order to begin using your 0800 number you are required to complete our direct debit mandate. It is a really simple form and once returned your number can be connected in minutes. If you have placed a new order and not received our forms via email please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will be delighted to re-supply everything to you.
If we don’t receive your monthly payment our accounts team will be notified. A member of our team will then endeavour to contact you to either collect the payment or make any necessary changes to your direct debit details. If the payment does fail and we are unable to contact you we may disconnect your number until the account is brought up to date.
All we require for cancellation is 30 days’ notice, though we need a cancellation request in writing. Simply email [email protected] stating you wish to cancel, including your 0800 number and company name. As we bill in arrears please be aware that your final payment will be taken at the end of the following month. With this is mind it is very important that you don’t personally cancel your direct debit with your bank as this will mean you will miss the payment.
